Albuquerque New Mexico VA Conference

July 17th to July 20th 2016

On behalf of the WAVES Executive Board, we would like to extend a personal invitation to you to participate in the 2016 WAVES Conference in beautiful Albuquerque New Mexico.

This year we are putting together a wonderful information packed conference. There are a number of new things to go over to help our veteran students and their families. The Conference will be held at the Albuquerque Convention Center located at 401 2nd Street NW, Albuquerque NM 87102 with the Hyatt Regency as the official hotel conference site.

The Hyatt Regency is an urban oasis in the land of Enchantment known for its high level of personal service, upscale amenities and ideal downtown location. Just 10 minutes from the Albuquerque International Sunport, the hotel is directly across from the Albuquerque Convention Center where all conference sessions will take place.

Here you will be able to see the cost of registration and also have the ability to print out a copy of the conference agenda. In an effort to "go green" printed agendas will NOT be available at registration check-in. The Convention center will also have free Wi-Fi access for accessing the agenda and session presentations from the WAVES web site with the use of personal electronic devices.

For those of you wanting to arrive a bit early before the conference starts, there are a host of things to do in Albuquerque. From Route 66 summer fest with live music, car shows and shopping. The Mariachi Spectacular, world renowned groups showcasing a Varity of Mariachi styles. Viva Mexico, featuring music, arts and food from Mexico and a host of many other events.
